Here’s how it works our Elektri-Clutch system works similar to a traditional nitro clutch where the springs ‘PULL’ the shoes to the center. The Traktion Drive employs a new clutch shoe design coupled with a different spring design to ‘PUSH’ the shoes into the clutch bell. So it’s engaged at 0 RPM. This equals 0 lag.

Slip amount is adjusted by the thickness of the springs. Use lighter springs (0.8mm 0.9mm) for better traction on loose tracks. Use thicker springs (1.0mm 1.1mm) for higher grip tracks.

Tekno RC continues to push the boundaries of the evolving 1/8th brushless class. The new Elektri-Clutch adapter is compatible with most 3-shoe clutch systems and clutch bells (Ofna Mugen Kyosho AE Hot Bodies etc). This adapter is lighter stronger spins truer and is easier to set up than the previous design.

Includes Tekno RC’s specifically chosen quick engaging spring set (TKR4107) and 7075 clutch shoes. The 0.7mm springs engage almost instantly and provide a true bridge between direct drive and clutch systems. The hard 7075 aluminum clutch shoes have a machined shim on top and bottom of each shoe to allow free/consistent engagement. All the benefits of both systems are achieved: Instant power better traction cooler operating temps predictable jumping (no nose diving) smoother faster cornering less drivetrain stress. No compromises.
